More about IGAPA:

IGAPA is the leading international association for public affairs professionals. The members have direct experience in corporate and association public affairs management, lobbying, digital advocacy, global public affairs, corporate responsibility, PACs and campaign finance, crisis communication and a host of related functions. Each year the Association hosts more than 10 conferences, seminars, webinars, forums and social events for public affairs professionals. We sponsor research on emerging issues, public affairs trends, innovations and best practices, including International GR-Forum.

IGAPA is the trendsetter of GR and lobbying practices in Western Europe and the USA, which have already become the standard for making effective decisions in the dialogue between government, business and society.

IGAPA is interested in active promotion of lobbying mechanisms and GR in Central Asia. Approval of ethical standards for building a transparent dialogue between business, government and society is the first step for the development of lobbying and GR in countries where their mechanisms are not legally approved. The experience of the EU countries and the USA is useful in this.

The conference will reveal:

1. Legal status of the GR industry and lobbying in Kazakhstan.

2. Development of mechanisms for dialogue between business, government and society (GR, lobbying and advocacy).

3. Trends in the lobbying and GR industry in Kazakhstan.

4. Key tools of lobbying and GR.

5. Application of the world experience in lobbying, GR and advocacy in Kazakhstan.

6. Lobbying of Kazakh business abroad.

7. The importance of developing a professional community in Kazakhstan.

8. Opportunities for cooperation between foreign partners and Kazakh specialists in the field of GR and lobbying.

9. The position of stakeholders on this issue (public politicians, representatives of executive power, specialized industry organizations, law firms, GR directors of large companies, business associations).
