Founded in Geneva in 1982, IGAPA began as a closed roundtable for diplomatic attachés and corporate envoys navigating the Cold War trade landscape.

Today, we are the only global accreditation body dedicated solely to the government affairs profession, representing over 4,000 certified practitioners in 60 jurisdictions.
